FOXY Choice identifies the best and female friendly garages, dealers and car dealerships for women drivers in the UK. With service levels as hit and miss here in such an important safety area, someone has to do it!
Being professional and fussy shoppers by nature (and proud of it) we women drivers know what we want and if we don’t get what we want we tell others and we keep looking until we get it right! We like to do our homework in advance and, by and large, few of us feel we are getting as good or as female friendly a motoring deal as we should when we buy a new car or garage services like car servicing or repairs.
Because safety always appears high on the female motoring agenda FOXY Choice includes a unique Good Garage Guide for women with useful advice and information about the choice of garage suppliers, the latest and best quality initiatives, leading garage networks and trade organisations to rely on.
All businesses listed have to sign the female friendly FOXY Promise (to never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell women services they don’t need or want…) and highlight leading quality initiatives; whether they are an ATA employer, a BSI Kitemark licensee, a member of a Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership scheme or if they operate to an OFT approved code (Stage 2).
New for 2010 is our Female Business Ambassador network because we believe that any motor business that employs women (only 20% of the retail motor industry workforce is female…) stands a better chance of understanding what women want than one that thinks we should be happy with the same service levels as men.
