BP to offer green driving tips 13 July 08
Female motorists may soon be able to benefit from new women's motoring support about driving more economically from BP.
The firm is launching a new TV programme featuring Quentin Wilson called Drive Greener and Save Money on Information TV, Marketing Week reports.
Airing from July 18th, the series of 30-minute programmes will see Willson and five other motorists see how far they can drive on a single litre of petrol when they take the BP Ultimate Green Driving test.
The news provider states that throughout the programmes viewers will be given tips on improving fuel economy.
In related news, More Than, which recently launched a female-friendly car insurance product range, is currently offering motorists 'Green Box' technology to help people adapt their driving styles to become more environmentally-friendly.
The device links up with the car's engine management system and feeds information to the company's website, which can be accessed by its car insurance customers.
