Battle of the sexes takes to the track
Women drivers who are convinced ladies are better behind the wheel than their male counterparts may be interested in an upcoming event.
On the second bank holiday weekend of May, people who want to take the battle of the sexes to the track will be able to do so at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Teams consisting of one male and one female participant are being invited to sign up for a time trial.
Experts will be on hand to offer advice and tuition, with the ladies racing in the morning and the men showing what they can do later in the day.
"Who knows, this track day may even lay to rest the myth about women drivers," organisers commented.
For £360, couples will be able to race and will also receive breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Regardless of the result at the Goodwood event, female motorists generally benefit from cheaper insurance than their male counterparts, as they are typically viewed as a lower risk.
