Car salesman is the job female drivers find the least sexy, according to a dating website's poll.

The fairer sex is not impressed by the forecourt charm, the survey by IllicitEncounters.com revealed.

Airline pilots are far more likely to be attractive to women, according to the poll of 3,000 females, while media-related jobs are also likely to attract positive vibes.

Quoted by Motor Trader, Sara Hartley from the site said: "Car salesmen were seen as being incredibly patronising to women."

Property developers came third with 11 per cent of the vote, and lawyers weighed in at fourth.

Farmers sneaked into fifth with eight per cent, ahead of doctors and medical professionals in sixth.

IllicitEncounters.com matches people looking for affairs, allowing users to view the profiles of people in their area.

The site recently said an increasing number of British women are conducting affairs as men stay away from home longer due due to increased working hours.
