FOXY Newsdesk 'Diesel is a green choice' for female drivers
Foxy lady drivers prefer new car dealerships that have signed the female friendly FOXY Promise© to never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell women motorists' services they don't need.
Environmentally-friendly women drivers who would like to do their bit for the planet may want to consider a diesel car, it has been suggested.
According to carbonfootprint.com, a lot of green vehicles - like the Toyota Prius - tend to be more expensive than a standard motor and are out of reach for some individuals.
Therefore, managing director John Buckley advised: "What people can do is buy diesel cars because they tend to have a much better mile per gallon than petrol [vehicles]."
This option generally requires a larger initial outlay, he acknowledged.
However, Mr Buckley pointed out people buying diesel cars would make this money back through cheaper running costs.
In the future, he added, the number of environmentally-friendly options available to male and female drivers will increase.
A family company, carbonfootprint.com provides information and practical advice to busy individuals and businesses keen to do their bit to preserve the environment.
