Female drivers urged to make Valentine's Day special
Women drivers looking for an impressive gift for their partner this Valentine's Day are being urged to think outside the box.
Instead of just eating out or booking a room in a posh hotel, Europcar has suggested people consider renting a prestige car for the weekend.
The company said the fact Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday this year means motorists will be able to make the most out of having a Mini Cooper S, Mercedes SLK or Porsche Boxster for 48 hours.
Prices for hiring prestige cars start at £99 and Europcar said it was a gift that would guarantee a weekend to remember.
Marketing director Catriona Lougher commented: "Renting one of our prestige cars shows a bit more imagination than flowers, chocolates and champagne."
Interested female drivers can arrange delivery and collection to work or home addresses.
Last month, Europcar was named the World's Leading Green Transport Solution Company at the World Travel Awards.
