Female motorsport fans will get a chance to see British Formula One racing star Lewis Hamilton at the Brooklands Motoring Festival.

The festival, which is taking place on June 28th and 29th in Weybridge, Surrey, will feature grand prix cars and single seater racers, a great build-up to the British Grand Prix the following weekend.

Hamilton will be joined at the festival by Sir Stirling Moss, a man who encapsulates British racing for many fans.

"Brooklands was the birthplace of circuit motor-racing as we know it today and witnessed countless world records being made after its opening in 1907," said Peter O'Halloran, managing director of Mercedes-Benz World, one of the organisers.

He added that the presence of "key figures on the current circuit such as Lewis Hamilton and racing legend Sir Stirling Moss" was "extremely fitting".

The 2008 Formula One season starts in Australia at the end of this week, before visiting 17 other tracks as Hamilton seeks to take the drivers' championship.

FOXY Lady Drivers are Formula One enthusiasts, look forward to supporting Lewis Hamilton and waving the British flag at Brooklands and then again at Goodwood's Festival of Speed in July.
