Fiat Qubo mini-MPV 'to help women drivers save fuel'
A new car from Fiat is claimed to help male and female drivers save fuel.
The Qubo Mini-MPV will come equipped with the manufacturer's in-car eco:Drive system, which aims to help motorists see how they can take to the roads more efficiently.
It was first launched last year and incorporates a memory stick that transfers information from the on-board computer to a home PC or laptop.
According to Fiat, it helps drivers to understand how certain gear changes, braking patters and manoeuvres can be altered to result in eco-friendly fuel consumption levels.
"Offering eco:Drive on Qubo will help to spread the benefits of this technology, helping drivers to improve their driving efficiency, saving fuel and reducing their impact on the environment," said managing director of Fiat Group UK Andrew Humberstone.
Last week, singer-songwriter James Morrison performed at a party to promote the Qubo.
It took place in London and was also attended by Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts.
