Fiat 500 'chic and green'
Women drivers keen to protect their pocket and the planet may want to check out a model from Fiat.
The 500 Start&Stop city car has received a green award from What Car? magazine for being one of the most eco-friendly vehicles about.
With CO2 emissions of 113 g/km, owners of the model are eligible to pay £35 annual road tax.
In addition to this, the auto's green credentials also mean ladies may find it helps them save money at the pump.
Managing director Andrew Humberstone said the vehicle was the ideal model to drive people through the recession.
He explained: "In these tough economic times, motorists are looking for environmentally-friendly cars that can provide fantastically low running costs."
Style-conscious ladies may also agree with What Car? magazine's claim that the Fiat 500 is a "chic" choice.
However, women drivers who cannot afford to replace their current motor may find regular car servicing can help keep it running smoothly for a few more years.
