Fiat helps famous female celebrate 50th
One famous female driver who recently turned 50 was given a special birthday present from Fiat this week.
Barbie - perhaps the best-known fashion doll in the world - was given her own pink 500.
The unique motor was designed by the manufacturer in partnership with toymaker Mattel.
Earlier this week, a real-life Barbie was driven by Ken in the car through the streets of Milan.
The vehicle's paintwork was created to resemble nail varnish and the glove compartment was kitted out with a range of lip glosses, as well as an LED-lit vanity mirror.
Roberto Giolito, style director and creator of the Fiat 500, said: "Barbie is a looker, smart enough to listen to everyone, a universal ambassador opting for a car that never divides, but frees everyone from having to declare their social status."
In other news, an open-top version of the car made its debut at the Geneva motor show this month.
