Ford has announced that the latest edition of its Focus range will go on sale across the country from Thursday, something that could be of interest to foxy lady drivers everywhere.

Created by the performance vehicle arm of the car manufacturer, Ford TeamRS, the new Focus is "fast, fun and fabulously good looking", according to Ford.

Priced from £18,250 to £20,850, the latest version of the popular Ford model has a top speed of 150mph and boasts a 0-62mph acceleration time of 6.8 seconds.

Three and five-door versions of the car are available, with electronic stability programme (ESP) and traction control standard on all versions of the 2008 Focus ST.

In addition, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sports styling, Recaro sports seats, a sports steering wheel and upgraded instrumentation come as standard in the new Focus, something for female motorists to get excited about.

Ford recently revealed that its greenest Focus ever, the ECOnetic, would be receiving its UK launch at the Sexy Green Car Show next month.
