Foxy women drivers avoid stress on holiday journeys
If you've ever been stuck in heavy traffic you'll know that it's no fun watching the temperature gauge rise and keeping your fingers crossed that you'll make it to journey's end on time. Even worse you could find yourself stranded on a motorway shoulder with young children, waiting to be towed off for a simple yet expensive car repair, instead of sipping a well-earned glass of chilled wine at your holiday destination.
Steph Savill, founder of FOXY Lady Drivers Club, recommends that women drivers book a 20 minute car fitness check as part of their holiday preparations, to minimise the risk of their car letting them down and ruining an all-important family holiday break.

A typical car check carried out by garage professionals could include tyres, lights, brake fluid, oils & coolant levels, the air conditioning system and vehicle CO2 emissions.

Other similar quarterly checks include the vehicle's air conditioning system, antifreeze levels and battery. All car check providers have signed the FOXY Promise to never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell services that women don't want or need and are either an ATA employer (Automotive Technician Accreditation), a BSI Kitemark Licencee or a member of a scheme operating to an OFT-approved service and repair code of practice.
