New Audi A3 'is green and offers great performance'
Women drivers who want to reduce their carbon footprint but do not want to compromise on performance may be impressed with a new addition to Audi's line up.
The manufacturer has announced it is releasing a version of the A3 fitted with a more efficient 1.6-litre engine.
Buyers who opt for this car will find it boasts CO2 emissions of 109 g/km and is capable of 69 mpg.
However, the vehicle is also able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 11.4 seconds, before powering on to a top speed of 121 mph.
Audi revealed it has achieved the boost to efficiency in a number of ways, including equipping the auto with start-stop technology.
Prices for the latest version of the model start at £17,485.
Meanwhile, ladies who cannot justify shelling out for a new motor at the moment may find regular car servicing can help to ensure their current auto is running at its most efficient.
