FOXY Newsdesk New Ford Focus RS could attract female drivers
Women drivers looking to combine practicality with power could well be tempted to make the new Ford Focus RS their next vehicular purchase.
The car's manufacturer has released a number of in-depth details on the motor, stating it marks "the pinnacle" of the Focus road car range.
Ford states the design of the vehicle not only makes it a powerful car, but assists in enhancing its fuel economy.
John Wheeler, the chief programme engineer on the Focus RS, said augmented green credentials were just as vital as performance when it came to creating the motor.
"It was important for us to develop a vehicle which combines high performance with fuel economy. In the 300+ PS category, Focus RS is amongst the leaders for fuel economy," he added.
Earlier this week, Ford announced that the Mondeo had been named both Best Estate Car and Best Family Car 2009 by What Car?.
