New green car to tempt women drivers? 22 April 08
Foxy lady motorists could be tempted by what Ford are calling their "greenest Ford Focus" which is set to make its debut next month.
Female drivers looking to cut their car emissions could be interested in the ECOnetic edition of the popular model when it appears at the Sexy Green Car Show at the Eden Project.
Ford claims the car will produce 115g of CO2 per kilometre and do almost 66 miles to the gallon, helping to keep fuel costs down and promising to compete with the gas guzzlers.
Eden Project's Gus Grand is executive producer of the show and says: "The Focus is one of the most recognisable cars on the road and we're excited to be hosting the launch of the ultra-green version."
Steph Savill of FOXY Lady Drivers Club added that Ford was one of the most popular choices of cars within the membership so the arrival of a new green model, eligible for a low £35 car tax rating, was likely to go on many foxy shopping lists in future.
The May 23rd to 31st show is the second annual appearance of the event at the Cornwall-based project.
