New second-hand car selling scheme launched
Women drivers looking to buy a car may want to check out a new scheme being run by a website selling second-hand motors.
Carsite.co.uk has unveiled plans to give people the chance to pick from a range of ex-fleet and leasing company vehicles before they officially go on sale.
Participants will be able to browse thousands of autos and if they see one they like, they can pay £75 to have it removed from the market.
The company will then ensure the car receives a full mechanical and bodywork inspection from the RAC, as well as an HPI check.
In addition to this, potential buyers will be issued with 21 photographs of the vehicle to help them decide if they want to go ahead with the purchase.
Customers who change their mind at this point will receive a full refund of the £75 they paid to reserve the auto.
Meanwhile, ladies who do opt for a second-hand motor may find they can get a good deal on specialist insurance for women drivers, as used models are generally cheaper to repair and replace.
