Car manufacturer Peugeot and readers of Elle magazine have teamed up to develop a swish limited edition convertible.

The Peugeot 207CC Elle is a unique range of new cars for women drivers and has a range of interior styling options created by female fans of Elle as part of a competition.

Designers have also incorporated quilted centre panels on the seats, door and side trims, and Elle logos embroidered into the floor mats.

Peugeot UK marketing director Christian Stein said: "The 207 CC is an iconic, stylish vehicle and by teaming up with the equally iconic Elle brand we hope to appeal to those individuals who share our passion for items of great style."

Four different exterior and interior combinations have been included following the input from the magazine's readers.

The range includes Rock Chic, featuring a diamond black colour scheme and black leather interior with a pale pink trim. Other styles include Classic Couture in a striking Lacerta yellow.

Peugeot recently revealed an overhaul of its 107 'city bug' car, giving it a new zircon grey, antigua blue or carbon grey colour range.
