Residual values for Seat Ibiza 5dr 'impressive'
An independent source has predicted that the new Seat Ibiza 5dr could give female drivers impressive residual values.
CAP New Monitor has found that the vehicle retains 43 per cent of its original cost within three years of ownership or 36,000 miles of use.
Women drivers could find that the extra money helps them pay for their female car insurance costs, or as a deposit for a new vehicle.
The company commented that the Ibiza's residual value is as much as any supermini on the market.
CAP's manufacturer relations manager Martin Ward stated that the model is of "much-improved quality" over the previous Ibiza model.
"Much of the interior is as good as some more premium brands. This quality will certainly stand the test of time, and will make the Ibiza a very desirable used car for many years," said the official.
In production since 1985, the Seat Ibiza is the automobile manufacturer's successor to the Fura vehicle.
