Foxy female drivers looking for a good deal on a cool convertible ahead of the summer could be among the bidders at two British Car Auctions (BCA) sales next month.

BCA is hosting two live online sales on behalf of Lloyds TSB Autolease and Black Horse with 200 or more convertible cars for sale at both events, on April 14th and 28th.

All of the cars will be BCA Smart Prepared to ensure they look great ahead of the sale, with vehicles ranging from under £5,000 to over £50,000 up for auction at the events.

Foxy women drivers could get their hands on an Audi TT, Chrysler Crossfire, Mercedes SLK, Porsche Boxster or Lotus Elise, all of which are among the lots in the first sale, BCA has said.

"Despite our notoriously changeable weather, British motorists buy more convertibles than our European cousins and values tend to rise as the warmer months approach," said Alan Gupwell, national account manager for BCA.

Cars from the likes of Ford, Nissan, Mini and Peugeot will also be up for grabs.

Earlier this month, the BCA said the Budget could be just what British motorists needed to get them buying greener cars.
