Toyota Yaris 'cheapest car to repair'
The average repair cost for female friendly vehicle the Toyota Yaris is £89.68, making it the UK's cheapest car to fix, a new report says.
And if you've ever thought your repair costs were too high, then they could be contributing to the collective £3.9 billion spent every year on car breakdowns.
This data comes courtesy of Warranty Direct, which researched how much it costs to repair cars four to eight years old.
The Honda Jazz followed the Yaris at £106.11, while the Nissan Micra - another female friendly car - was third with a per-fix cost of £132.24.
And in case you need to visit a mechanic anytime soon, be warned that a Jaguar S-Type was found to be the priciest, with an average repair cost of £422.84.
"The cost of parts and labour on some models is shocking," said Warranty Direct's Duncan McClure. "[It] really comes into play once a car leaves the protection of its manufacturer warranty."
