Female motorists who want to get away this year but are keen to cut costs may find a driving vacation in the UK can help them make savings.
Recent research by the Association of Investment Companies revealed 42 per cent of Brits are planning to reduce the amount they spend on holidays this year.
Of those questioned, seven per cent said they have decided to take a break in the UK in 2009 rather than heading overseas.
Women drivers who intend to hop in their cars this summer and explore Britain may want to do everything they can to ensure their trip goes smoothly by taking their vehicle to a female-friendly garage for servicing.
By opting for this type of business, ladies should find the mechanics only carry out essential maintenance and charge a fair price.
Motor Codes recently claimed booking a car servicing appointment before a driving trip can reduce the chances of holidaymakers spending hours of their precious leisure time stranded by the roadside.
