A special summer night out for Berkhamsted ladies

Jeremy Chapman with Stephanie and Hannah Brookfield
If you live near Berhamsted in Hertfordshire and are free on Thursday 9 August you are cordially invited to attend a summer Ladies evening at the local car dealership Roy Chapman Ford.

This is a free event being organised in partnership with the Tring and Berkhamsted Safer Neighbourhood Teams and the car dealership Roy Chapman Ford, between 7pm and 9pm.

Female friendly garage credentials

Roy Chapman Ltd is a member of the FOXY Choice female friendly garage network. This means they have passed our fussy standards and are now promoted via the FOXY Lady Drivers Club website to women drivers, members of the Club and their family.

As well as being Ford, Mazda and Citroen specialists, they also MOT, service and repair all makes of vehicles and are well known locally for their warm welcome and commitment to high customer service levels.

Ladies evening programme

Police Community Support Officer, Emma Lennox, from the Tring Safer Neighbourhood Team, will be sharing her top safety tips including

preparing for a safe journey
driving skills
personal safety
driving on motorways
what to do in the event of a breakdown
winter driving and lots more.

Technicians from Roy Chapman Ford will also add to the party atmosphere with a fun demonstration about basic car maintenance; to make sure your car is safe on the roads in between car servicing visits.

There’ll also be the opportunity for one lucky foxy lady to win a free car service.

Emma Lennox said: “This promises to be a really useful evening which will provide women with a whole host of knowledge and skills to ensure they are safe when out and about on the roads. I’d encourage people to book a place – it’ll be very informal and a fun night out too!”

Jeremy Chapman, Director at Roy Chapman Ford, said: “It’s really important to us that we look after all our customers.  Our Ladies Evening is free to anyone (men included) who wishes to learn more about looking after their car between services and to raise their awareness of staying safe on the roads. Judging by the response we’ve already received, we’re expecting a lot of interest in this event.”

To book your place on Thursday 9 August at 7pm, either contact Jeremy on 01442 871234 or email him via info@roychapman.com.
