Jill Bennett is an independent consultant with Arbonne International. She depends on her car to meet people who are interested in her health and wellness products or who would like to join her team.

We asked Jill about her choice of cars to date and why today’s car is so critical to her business success and lifestyle.
What car did you learn to drive in and where was this?
I learnt to drive in my boyfriend’s car, a sporty Ford Capri in the Midlands (Codsall and Tettenhall to be precise). It’s a long time ago!
What was the first car you bought?
I loved my little Mini – that’s the old style of course. When Minis were small and there were few creature comforts on board. But everybody loved these cars…!
Was there a special time when you truly enjoyed your car and journey?
I remember one weekend in particular, when I was in my 20s. I drove a few friends from the Midlands to Maidenhead to go to a party in a nightclub. The following day we drove home and went to a Point to Point event – but I don’t remember us seeing any horses!
I was with really good friends and all I remember was laughing a lot and having such fun. Oh yes, I was driving a Ford Fiesta then!
What’s the most exciting car you’ve enjoyed driving to date?
That’d be at a hospitality event when I drove an open top Bentley and an Aston Martin around a race track at more than 100 mph! I was with a professional racing driver who had taken me round the track to tell me how to handle the cars first. It was all very exciting and exhilarating!
What’s your next car likely to be?
I can be absolutely certain that my next car will be a Mercedes E Class convertible in white. I’m less certain when I’ll get it but it’ll likely be later this year.
The reason I know this is because I run a business through Arbonne International! Once you reach a certain target they pay you a monthly allowance to drive a Mercedes. You can choose any model but it must be white! That’s in keeping with the pure and spotless Arbonne image of course!
If money were no object, what car would you buy?
Hmm that’s a tricky one – maybe an Aston Martin DB9. Ideally the one built for Bond and driven by Daniel Craig in Spectre of course. That’d be sure to impress the neighbours.
