Here is the latest list of FOXY’s female friendly approved garages and repairers including independents, franchised dealerships, fast fit and mobile services.
Did you know that UK garages that carry out service and repair work aren’t regulated which is why mechanics don’t have to be licensed to fix our cars? This is why a cheap MOT or car servicing package from a garage you don’t know can be a false economy when some cut safety corners or fail to do a job altogether?
NB: Citizens Advice confirm that complaints about independent garage services come in third on their complaints list behind Top of the Complaints Chart ‘used cars’ and Runner Up ‘mobile phones’.
So you need to know which garages and dealers are measurably better than the rest – not just choose a local one and cross your fingers!
Female Friendly Approved Garages
All the garages the Club works with have signed the FOXY Lady Approved Female Friendly Promise to “never overcharge, patronise or sell women anything they don’t need.”
