For the first time ever we’re reviewing a product that’s designed with women drivers in mind.
Most of us are Yankee Candle lovers anyway but did you know you can enjoy the same domestic scent sensation when driving your car. What you need is one of their Car Jars or a Vent Stick it seems…
If you tune into QVC ie http://www.qvcuk.com/ today you’ll see that this whole collection is selling for less than the RRP of £39.90… so well worth catching one of the shopping shows today at 12 noon, 3pm, 7pm & 10pm.
Car Jar Ultimate
There are 4 Car Jar Ultimate’s in this collection. Each Car Jar lasts up to 4 weeks so that totals a fragrant 16 weeks…
There are 6 Vent Stick Packs in the collection.
Each Vent Stick last up to 2 weeks per stick.
There are 4 Vent Stick in a pack. Each Pack last up to 8 weeks.
Total Fragrance for all the 6 packs of Vent Sticks is 48 weeks.
The perfect occasion for a fragrant drive…
Clearly fragrances are a question of personal preference and, as they all smell fabulous to me, let’s imagine when each might come into their own…
1 Car Jar Ultimate Ocean Blossom – “Like a swim in a tropical lagoon … paradise calls in this blend of sea salt, lotus and water lily.”
Definitely one for staycations or beach holidays overseas – take a Vent Stick with you for the hire car?
2 Car Jar Ultimate Macintosh – “So vividly real you can almost taste the unmistakable crunch.”
I’m not sure what the ultimate crunch is but to me, a Macintosh is what you wear in the rain. Plenty of opportunities to use this one when you’re driving in the rain then. Such as today in Sussex.
3-4 Car Jar Ultimate Coconut Bay – “Intoxicating scent of wind-swept palms and coconut milk.” and Vent Stick Coconut Bay
Coconut mmmm – that reminds me grass skirts and a hula hula dance… Not much call for that nowadays but maybe if you drive to dancing lessons, this might put you in the mood.
5-6 Car Jar Ultimate Lavender Vanilla – “An oasis of tranquillity … the perfect mix of fresh lavender and warm vanilla with musk and bergamot” and Vent Stick Garden Sweet Pea – “The sweet perfume of delicate blooms accented with hints of pear, peach, freesia and rosewood.”
Definitely a summer trip. Maybe to a festival or even a ‘pick your own’ farm, a garden centre or to remind you about lazy sunny days during the depths of winter…
7 Vent Stick Black Cherry – “The absolutely delicious sweetness of rich, ripe black cherries”
A fruity reminder? Could this be one of our ‘five a day’? Stick it in your vent on your drive to Tesco’s perhaps?
8 Vent Stick Sun & Sand – “A tropical beach breeze of sweet orange flower, lemony citrus, fresh lavender and powdery musk.”
Sounds like luxury to me so save it for a special occasion when you need that ultimate pick me up. That combination of scents certainly does things for me…(I wrote this on a Sunday evening not a rainy Monday morning…)
9 Vent Stick Midsummers Night – “An intoxicating and masculine blend of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne.”
A masculine scent? Keep it handy, just in case you need to impress at a moment’s notice; as in Daniel Craig waiting at a bus stop as you drive by. You can but dream…
10 Vent Stick French Vanilla – “Sweet and traditional, the source of the vanilla fragrance is oil extracted from tropical orchids.”
Ooh la la. Clearly for the happily indecisive amongst us when only a whiff of ‘je ne sais pas’ will do…
We hope you enjoy sweet smelling motoring days ahead.
NB: This Car Jar and Vent Stick Collection is being promoted by QVC http://www.qvcuk.com/ today. It has a total fragrance life of up to 64 weeks which makes it great value. Undoubtedly you’ll be able to buy it via the usual car freshener stockists in future but probably not at so good a deal.
This is a review – we were sent this as a sample and so we might write this blog. By all means tell us via Twitter @FOXYTweets if you’d like more ‘frilly’ reviews like this…
